Angie Harmon has been an American actor and model for a long time. She's appeared in numerous movies and TV series. Her first venture was as a successful model prior to moving to acting. The beginning of her acting career came in 1995 when she starred on the TV show 'Baywatch Nights. She also is an actor in voice and was the voiceover for an animation version of Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker film. Harmon made the decision in the year 2000 that she would not be acting on TV and focus only on film. Following a couple of films then she went back to her television role. She is best known for her character in the role of the detective Jane Rizzoli in the TNT show, 'Rizzoli & Isles.' Her performance was well-received in her role as a detective, and won accolades.
