Angie Harmon has been an American model/actress for many years. Her appearances have been in a variety of movies and TV shows. Her first venture was as a successful model before moving into acting. It was 1995 when she starred on the TV show 'Baywatch Nights. She also is a voice actor and provided the voiceover for an animated adaptation of Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker film. Harmon made the decision in the year 2000 to stop performing on television and to concentrate exclusively on films. In the mid 2000s she returned to TV series after a short stint in movies. In 2008 she was among the very few actresses that posed for Allure magazine wearing bare breasts. Her most well-known role is her character as the detective Jane Rizzoli in the TNT series 'Rizzoli & Isles.' In her role as Detective, Harmon was frequently honored and praised. Angie Harmon was nominated over these past years for her exceptional performances, but was not awarded any prizes.
